    How to Make Port Wine at Home

    • 4 gallons of red grape juice (preferably made from Douro Valley grapes)
    • 1 kg of sugar
    • Wine yeast
    • Brandy or grape spirit for fortification

    • Large fermentation vessel
    • Hydrometer
    • Siphon and tubing
    • Airtight containers for aging

    Method:
